Sorry for the long gap between posts, I've been busy and lazy.
Anyway, I went to the Hamptons! Some lovely people called Chris and Lisa invited me along for the day to Lisa's parents home. Beautiful it was too.
I got a 7am train there, which amazingly, was full of drinking youths! Apparently there is some crazy bar in the Hamptons called the Boardy Barn that opens one day a week (sunday) all day, and kids from all over go there to play beer pong and get fucked up.
This was the scene at the station:
Skin headed youfs and their girls, wearing t-shirts with lovely expressions such as: "I have the penis so I make the rules" The guys were wearing the t-shirts I mean, not the girls. But damn, I mean, really?!!
Anyway, when we got to the house it was beautiful, and it had a nice big pool (lisa below de-leafing said pool)
At the house were lisa's family including her lovely little niece (below)
My favourite member of the family however, was their ENORMOUS dog, which was a cross breed, half dog, half bear. Below is Chris holding the dog. This makes the dog/bear look kinda small but please bear (ho ho) in mind that Chris is a really big guy and the dog is cropped.
For a reference of scale, here is me and the dog/bear. It's a big dog!
I burnt myself to a crisp trying to invent new pool games involving oversized inflatables. Inflatable lacrosse was particularly challenging. But I had an amazing time and I'm ever so grateful to the guys for inviting me over.
