The kitchen situation improves

Today I finally got around to building a new kitchen unit. Until today I've been making do with around two sq feet of workspace. I've been chopping vegetables in the sink, balancing plates on the drying rack and slicing bread on the cooker top.

Anyway, below is a photo of my new improved kitchen. In order to fit the unit in I had to move my fridge into my front room, but that just means the beer is closer when I'm watching TV.

Frankly, this new setup is win-fucking-win. Why has no one thought of this until now?
