Hi everyone.

Thanks for reading my stream of consciousness. I can't believe how many of you are still reading this. Despite me only giving this link out to around 15 people I've had over 400 hits in the last two weeks.
I still can't quite believe it's only been two weeks since I flew over here.

Anyway, please ignore my earlier message about not being able to post from here. While I won't be able to get my own internet connection until I get my social security number and a credit card (this might take a couple of weeks) some kind and thoughtful individual in an apartment opposite mine has thoughtfully left their wireless connection unlocked. It's not an ideal situation. I have to sit in my windowsill to get a signal, but at least I get a nice view and I can still feel in touch with the world.

So thank you Mr. Linksys router. You've made the next couple of weeks far more pleasant. I sincerely promise not to stream any videos or download any large files on your connection, and the second I can get my own connection I shall do.
